DORA Holdings, Inc. (“DORA”) today announced the acquisition of Peerless of America, Inc. (“Peerless”) a leading automotive, air-conditioning and refrigeration fabricator of all-aluminum and aluminum/copper heat transfer coils.
Peerless is located in Effingham, Illinois and recognized as an ISO 9001:2008 registered manufacturing company. The operation is positioned in a state-of-the-art, 180,000 square plant and employs over 180 individuals in the areas of maintenance, manufacturing, R&D, sales, engineering, quality and administrative departments. Peerless’ current President, Michael Warkins will remain with the company and take on the role of Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.
Warkins stated, “I am extremely excited to partner with DORA and work closely with the leadership teams of both the management company and manufacturing group. We have already begun refining our innovation strategies, marketing approaches and long-term business plans; which include product launches in both the aerospace and aeroderivative gas turbine industries.”
“The acquisition of Peerless complements our concentrated strategy of expanding our manufacturing operations, as well as introducing a core-competency into aluminum extrusion. Mike and his team will work closely with our other businesses in the energy and turbo-machinery engineering industries and I am thrilled to welcome him and the entire Peerless group to the DORA Company,” commented R.J. A. D’Orazio, Chief Executive of DORA.
